Deputy Head Student, Mackenzie Dunnicliff, looks forward to the upcoming Derived Grade and Co-requisite Exams next week. Kia ora and welcome to Week 7!It’s hard to believe we are already over halfway through the term, with only three weeks left before the school holidays. The past few weeks have been busy and full of activity, and the next few promise to be just as eventful.Derived Grade and Co-requisite ExamsNext week is an important one for our senior students, as they sit their Derived Grade Exams. These exams are an essential opportunity for students to sit their exams in an environment similar to the ones at the end of the year. They also provide evidence that can be used should unforeseen circumstances affect them during NCEA exams at the end of the year. Alongside this, some students will also be completing their co-requisite exams, which are an important requirement under the new NCEA structure. We encourage all seniors to prepare well, get plenty of rest, and reach out to teachers if they need any last-minute support.Netball at SISSA huge congratulations to our netball team, who are currently representing the school at the South Island Secondary Schools Tournament (SISS) in Dunedin. This is a fantastic opportunity for our players to compete at a high level, develop their skills, and build strong team spirit. We are very proud of their efforts and commitment, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements when they return. We look forward to an exciting few weeks ahead and to finishing the term strongly.Ngā mihi nui,Mackenzie Dunnicliff
