We are thrilled to announce the launch of our major Twizel Area School Cookbook Fundraiser! This Term 1 and 2, we are coming together to support our talented students who will be  selected to represent our school at the National Area Schools Sporting Tournament in Whangārei during the final week of Term 2.

As you can imagine, getting a team from the heart of the Mackenzie District to the top of the North Island is a massive undertaking. Between flights, accommodation, and transport, the costs are significant. We want to ensure every selected student can get to that starting line, and we need your help to make it happen!

How You Can Help:

1. Share Your Secret Ingredient! We are asking every student at TAS to submit a special family recipe to be featured in our professionally printed cookbook. Whether it’s a legendary Mackenzie roast, a favorite traybake, or a quick weeknight pasta, we want your kitchen favorites!

2. Become a Business Sponsor We are looking for local businesses to partner with us. With 400 books being printed, this is a fantastic way to get your brand into the homes of our community for years to come.

Gold ($250): Full A5 color page sponsoring a whole class set of recipes, including your logo and a custom business recipe. (Only 13 available!)

Silver ($100): Business-card-sized feature within our popular "Staff & Coaches" recipe section.

Bronze ($50): A spot on our "Community Supporters" page at the rear of the book.

3. Buy a Book! Once the recipes are compiled, these cookbooks will be available for families to purchase. They make perfect gifts and are a wonderful keepsake of our 2026 school year.
