It has been an incredibly busy start to the year for the Board, as we continue to work hard to ensure we are setting the school up for success. One of our current priorities are our Annual Financial Statements, which are due to theMinistry of Education for Audit by the end of March. We have been working closely with theMinistry of Education to ensure we are meeting all our statutory obligations. This included afurther meeting this week focused on developing a clear action plan for the year ahead. Ouraction plan identifies the key themes we believe are vital to the direction of the school. It alsooutlines how we will measure progress and ensure we remain on track.We are nearing completion of the building process. The concrete slab has now been pouredfor the new caretaker’s shed, and the original shed will be reassembled by Total Span in duecourse. The demolition of the old school building is the next step of the process and is set tobegin in the next few weeks.We have also been reviewing furniture/items remaining in the old building to identify whatmay be suitable to pass on to the community for a donation. Please keep an eye out forfurther information about this over the coming days.Finally, we would like to sincerely thank you for your ongoing patience and support whileVicki and her team continue to settle into the new building.
